The story of our company starts in 1965 in the city of Bologna, Italy as a small craft workshop founded by Maria Ecchi her son Giuseppe Milazzo and his wife Gabriella Musolesi. The small business specialized in leather handbags and accessories grew up engaging the whole family.
Today the company is managed by the third generation, Beatrice and Giacomo Milazzo.
Starting from this simple family concept, in 1987, the first models of handbags designed by Gabriella Musolesi took its first steps in the market as a registered brand “Alchimia” that in 2013 evolves in a new brand Au79 creating a young and original style. Thanks to passion for craftsmanship as a quality that comes from creating with care and attention to detail, a fierce design and the high attention placed on the quality of materials the bags Alchimia and Au79 become appreciated all over the world. The corporate philosophy is entirely Italian, starting from the design, the research of raw materials as well as the manufacturing process with all bags being made in Bologna.
